CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, BULACAN – To maintain the uptrend in water service quality, San Jose Water recently created its Quality Management System (QMS) Manual, following the standards as set by the ISO 9001:2015.
The QMS Manual contains vital information on operating methods, specifically enumerating processes and step-by-step procedures to maintain the quality of services provided to consumers. The manual also serves as a guide for San Jose Water to create attainable goals for each of its departments.
The creation of a QMS manual is mandated by Administrative Order no. 161, s. 2006 and the Memorandum Circular No. 2016-1 of the Inter-Agency Task Force, directing government agencies and Government Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCC) including local water districts to form an ISO-aligned Quality Management System, so as to provide equal services across all offices.
The new QMS Manual can be found on San Jose Water’s official website.
